Began implant training in November of 2005. Since that time Dr. Snidal has completed the following implant continuums:
- Medical College of Georgia - MAXI course on implant dentistry
- Las Vegas Institute - Implant module
- Pikos Institute - Advanced bone grafting
- Partners in Synergy - Soft tissue grafting
- Misch International Implant Institute - Prosthetics
- Misch International Implant Institute - Surgery
He has received the following distinctions:
- Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists
- Fellow of the Misch International Implant Institute
- Graduate of the Medical Collage of Georgia (MAXI course)
- Graduate of Temple University (Misch International Implant Institute)
- Associate Fellow of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry
Dr Snidal has taken over 800 hours of continuing education in the field of implant dentistry. To put this into perspective, a typical dental school course requires 35 hours of instruction. He has done this in less than three years while maintaining a thriving practice in Carman.
He has successfully completed hundreds of implant and implant related surgical procedures, as well as restores the implants that he places.
A leader in implant dentistry since entering the field in 2005, Dr Snidal was the first general dentist to purchase a CT scan - the gold standard in implant dentistry. This is the only CT scan in a rural practice.
Dr. Snidal continues to be innovative in the dental field. He has recently added a dental laser to his practice to treat infected dental implants and to do hard and soft tissue surgery. This laser also allows Dr. Snidal to do fillings with out freezing!
Dr. Snidal has helped bridge the gap between the dentists and denturists in Manitoba by hiring a denturist to help with the removable prosthetic work-load of our practice. See Chris Meilun's bio.
Dr. Snidal has been married for 8 years. He and his wife Tracy live in Carman and have one child - Stella. Stella is six years old. When not at work, Dr. Snidal enjoys spending time with his family, doing all sorts of out door recreation, flying his airplane, and doing home improvement projects.
